Unresponsive Lake Reveler Airlifted, Revived

LAKE ST. CLAIR (WWJ) – It was a close call as one Jobbie Nooner party-goer nearly drowned.

“The gentleman had apparently had too much to drink and he was found face down in the water. He had a small laceration to his head, ” said St. Clair County Sherriff’s Lieutenant Dennis Maurey.

“He was transported by fire boat to the station area and was life-flighted out,” he said.

Lieutenant Maurey said that the young man was revived and, other than the cut to his head and a hangover, he was expected to be OK.   He was recovering later Friday at Beaumont Hospital.

Lieutenant Maurey urged those partying on the lake this summer to know their limits and wear their life perservers.
