Local Student Gets Perfect ACT Score

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - An Oakland County high school student has aced the ACT.

Suzanne Wdowik, who just finished her sophomore year at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, got a perfect score of 36 on the ACT college admission and placement exam.

How rare is a perfect score on the test? Fewer than one-tenth of one percent of all test takers across the country earn a perfect score on the ACT.

Did Wdowik  expect to do that well?

"I did and I didn't, 'cause I had already taken it twice before as a practice. And I kept improving on it, so I finally saw that a 36 was a possibility for me," said Wdowik. "But I obviously wasn't sure if I was gonna get it or not. I felt pretty confident after I had taken it though."

Wdowik has already toured some Ivy League Colleges, and hopes to attend Yale or Princeton.

She live with her parents, Stacy and Tom Wdowik, in Troy.
