Three Biggest Concerns For The Tigers Following Their Loss To Twins Monday
By: Pat Caputo
1. Doug Fister - The Tigers have lost eight of the 10 games Fister has started this season, including eight of the last nine. He has not managed to last five innings in his last two starts. It's July and Fister has one win.
2. The bottom half of the batting order - Alex Avila is showing signs of coming around lately, but otherwise, the Tigers lineup has been generally ineffective after cleanup hitter Prince Fielder.
3. Fielding - The Tigers keep hurting themselves with poor fundamental play defensively.
