Woman Hit, Killed By Train Left Suicide Note

WYANDOTTE (WWJ) - Police say a Wyandotte woman was on the phone with her boyfriend when she was struck and killed by a train.

It happened just after 5 a.m. Wednesday behind Roosevelt High School.

According to police, 25-year-old Jennifer Nagle was talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone about committing suicide when she was hit and thrown from the tracks.

Police said Nagle was sitting between the rails and it was "clear she had no intentions of exiting the tracks" although the engineer sounded the horn several times.

Nagle left a suicide note at the scene.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office will perform an autopsy.
