Eastpointe Police Make Gruesome Discovery In Burned Out Car
EASTPOINTE (WWJ) - Detectives in Eastpointe made a gruesome discovery Saturday morning when they found a body inside a burned out car.
Police say they made the discovery when they responded to a car fire on Crescentwood Avenue, near Gratiot and Nine Mile.
Authorities at this point aren't releasing any details on the identity of the victim.
It's not clear how the body got there or the official cause of death.
No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
