Was Drunk Driver The Cause Of Crash That Sent Several To Hospital?

CANTON (WWJ) - Canton Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in a crash that sent several people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Police say a woman turned onto Michigan Avenue from Lilley Road and drove against traffic where she crashed head first into another car.

The driver of that car and the woman were both airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger in the second car was treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
