71-Year-Old Thwarts Crime, Chases And Shoots Robbers

By: Mike Stone

This could be my favorite video I have seen in a while. Two men walked into the Palms Internet cafe in Florida last week to rob the place. As you will see, they come in armed, masked, and ready to damage. They were identified as Duwayne Henderson and David Dawkins. Usually in this situation, customers will do whatever the thieves ask them to do. However, as you will see here there is one 71-year-old gentleman who is not going to sit back and watch. Reactions like this give credence to those who believe in the right to bear arms.

The 71 year old was identified as Samuel Williams. Both of the crooks suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were later captured. And according to police, Williams — a licensed concealed carry gun owner — won't face any repercussions.

Henderson remained in the Marion County Jail late Monday in lieu of a $31,000 bond. Dawkins was released Sunday after posting an $11,000 bond.
