Engineering Society of Detroit Appoints Six New Directors To Board: The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) has appointed six individuals to its board of directors effective June 2012, bringing the total board members to 28. The new members are Larry Alexander, President and CEO, Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau; Cindy Estrada, Vice President, International Union, UAW; Farshad Fotouhi, PhD, Dean, College of Engineering, Wayne State University; Alex F. Ivanikiw, AIA, LEED AP, senior vice president, Barton Malow Co.; Charles T. Robinson, PE, LEED AP, president and CEO, Albert Kahn Associates Inc.; and Stephen Schultz, vice president engineering and CTO, BAE Systems. Founded in 1895, ESD is a multi-disciplinary society uniting engineering, scientific and allied professions to enhance professional development and foster excitement in math and science to produce our next generation of leaders.
