Pets Of The Week: Blow Your House Down

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Cuddly he’s not, but he is smart, fun, and adaptable — so meet Pig, our most unique addition ever to pets of the week.

Pig is — you guessed it — a pig, of the Vietnamese potbelly variety, and he needs a home. He’s at the Michigan Humane Society in Rochester Hills, where he’s awaiting a family who will love him. All you need is some outdoor space for a kids’ pool, time to train, and the dedication to take care of him correctly.

Potbelly pigs are domesticated, highly trainable, and generally grow to become the size of a large dog, 60 to 100 pounds on average. They can be potty trained to live indoors.
