As a long-standing partner with EMC, Secure-24 will add the EMC Velocity Service Provider program — a comprehensive, multi-faceted program that empowers select service provider partners to plan, create, deploy, market, sell and deliver EMC-powered public and private cloud services.

“As a valued partner in the EMC Velocity Service Provider program, Secure-24 has demonstrated its ability to provide enterprise customers with compelling services that ease their path to manage, support and transform their IT organizations,” said Michelle de Hertough, senior director of global alliance and service provider marketing at EMC Corp. “EMC is committed to enabling the success of companies like Secure-24 in delivering trusted and differentiated enterprise-class cloud services while enabling business agility and flexibility.”

Secure-24 provides managed IT operations, hosting and cloud services.

“Over the past eight years, we have invested in cloud-based enterprise-level service offerings, using EMC technologies along with our hosted approach for system delivery. Having been one of the first EMC Velocity Service Provider partners, we continue to raise the bar with the highest standards in delivering enterprise cloud services,” said Secure-24 COO Volker Straub.

Secure-24 has invested in the development and operation of data centers in Michigan and Arizona, which provide redundancy and disaster recovery. Overall, the company has more than 1.2 petabytes (quadrillion bytes) of information running on EMC storage.

Each data center has implemented EMC storage architectures, including VMAX10K with more than 400 terabytes of storage deployed and more expected by December, 2012. For backup, the company uses EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems and EMC NetWorker software for increasing backup performance. Secure-24 has replication to distant data centers, using EMC RecoverPoint. The company also utilizes EMC unified storage for customer environments and shared infrastructures.

With its EMC Velocity Service Provider partner status, Secure-24 offers its customers a number of differentiated solutions featuring dedicated teams who proactively manage and deploy services, including: * Integrated Compute, Storage and Network Infrastructure hosted in a SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II Compliant Data Center * Full Operations and Applications Support Capabilities featuring hosting, monitoring, IT service management and applications maintenance * Storage Categories to meet specific SAP and Oracle requirements including all aspects of infrastructure platform support (SAP Basis and Oracle DBMS) * Customer Portal and Monitoring Capability for visibility and transparency into operations and the customer environment
