Ravens: Lardarius Webb Wants Megatron Challenge
Lardarius Webb welcomes the challenge of defending Detroit receiver Calvin Johnson.
With the Ravens facing a regular season gauntlet of quarterbacks -- Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, and the list goes on -- Webb figures getting a look at Matthew Stafford and Johnson will only help Baltimore prepare for the upcoming season.
"Knowing the schedule we have this year, all the quarterbacks we have this year, this preseason test we're getting can do nothing but help us get better," Webb said.
The only time the Ravens faced Johnson was in a 2009 regular-season game, when Baltimore defeated Detroit 48-3. Johnson was held to four catches for 37 yards. Last week, the Ravens' secondary saw Julio Jones make six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown. There's been some motivation to improve on those numbers this week.
