COMMERCE TWP. (WWJ) – Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan are coming to Oakland County for a campaign rally this Friday.
The two are expected to make an afternoon appearance at Long Family Orchard Farm and Cider Mill Commerce Township. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for the public event.
This is the first trip to Michigan by Ryan since he was selected to be Romney’s running mate earlier this month. Romney hasn’t made a stop in Michigan since June.
Meantime, Vice President Joe Biden will speak Wednesday at Detroit Renaissance High School. President Barack Obama last visited Michigan on an April fundraising trip.
