Power Outage Cancels All Classes At MCC Central Campus

MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ)UPDATE : There will be no classes held at MCC Monday.

Some college students have an unexpected day off  Monday, because of a power outage.

Macomb Community College’s Center Campus, on Hall Road, is closed today as crews work to restore the power.

Classes will remain canceled for the rest of the day and into tomorrow at Macomb Community College’s Center Campus.

“Just under 12,000 students will be impacted by this but you know, we’ll have to reschedule schedule classes and things of that nature,” said spokesman Howard Hughey.

Classes at the college will resume at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
