VP Joe Biden Part Of Detroit’s Labor Day Celebration

UPDATE: Biden In Detroit: Romney Out Of Touch With Workers

DETROIT (WWJ) – Vice President Joe Biden is spending Labor Day in Detroit. He’ll be speaking at a noon rally following Detroit’s annual Labor Day parade which steps off at 9 a.m. from the corner of Michigan and Trumbull.

Doors to hear Biden’s address will open at 9:30 a.m. at the end of the parade route on the corner of Lafayette Blvd. and Shelby Street.

Meanwhile, President Obama will be at Scott High School in Toledo. It’s his second Toledo-area visit in two months. But, some tickets for the event have the wrong address. Ones distributed by United Auto Workers Local 12 incorrectly listed Scott High School’s FORMER location–not the current one, on Collingwood Boulevard.
