Detroit Police Working To Identify Body Found In Field

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are reporting a dead body was found at about 8 p.m. Saturday on the city’s east side near East Ferry and Jos Campau.

Police said a passerby saw a black man lying dead in a field of grass. He’s only being identified as a ‘John Doe’ at this time.

The medical examiner is working to determine a cause of death.
