Mike Valenti's Wednesday Watchers 9-19-12

Last week Mike Valenti went 1-4 in his "Wednesday Watchers" predictions. Not coincidentally, he opened this week's segment with a toilet flush.

Valenti calls this upcoming weekend the "all underdog weekend."

The first game of the week is BYU getting 7.5 points. Valenti said, "this team kind of boned us last week. We all agree that Boise isn't vintage Boise. BYU should bounce back in what should be a close game. Boise is overvalued."

His second game this week calls for "the pride of Ypsi and Ron English getting 33 points." Co-host Terry Foster asked, "are you sure, Mike?" Valenti answered: "I'm sure, MSU's offense isn't capable of scoring over 40. State will win by 4 TDs and I have a hard time thinking MSU will cover."

The third game is Mizzou +10 as they take on South Carolina. Valenti said, "South Carolina is good, I don't think Mizzou is that bad. South Carolina doesn't blow people out."

In the fourth game, Valenti said he is going to side with Rich Rodriguez. Arizona is traveling to Oregon getting 23.5 points. Valenti added, "Oregon has shown a serious flaw defensivley. Arizona may not be great or ready for primetime but your giving me 23.5, I'm gonna show a little faith and grab a live underdog. Plus it's Richard."

Of the fifth and final game Valenti said, "I'm doing this for the people, Michigan getting six as they travel to Notre Dame. Valenti added, "Let's be fair about it. The series is generally close. If you look back the underdog covers. Denard is the kryptonite to Notre Dame."
