Stoney and Bill's Football Picks For The Weekend Of 9-22-12
The first two weeks of the Stoney and Bill picks have been dominated by the non eye contact guy with bad posture. Actually dominated may be too strong, but Stoney has won the first two weeks, in part thanks to the correct pick in games involving the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well this could be Bill's week since there are no games with any Pennsylvania influence.

The Spartans are a ticked off bunch. Will they go after EMU assistant coach Mike Hart like an angry little bother? The big question is can MSU score enough points to cover the 33 if the Eagles are able to score a touchdown. I say no.

The Seminoles are coming off a 52-0 win against Wake Forest and have allowed 3 points the whole season. Clemson possesses an exciting offense led by Taj Boyd and Sammy Watkins. They will do enough to cover, but won't win.

New England + 3 at Baltimore
Both teams are coming off close losses. Baltimore's loss on the road to Philadelphia is certainly more acceptable than the Patriots home loss to Arizona. No matter what happens Sunday night, one of last seasons AFC title game will be 1-2 and I think it will be New England.

Lions -3 1/2 at Tennessee
The Titans have been outscored 72-23 in their two blowout losses. They are playing for their season. Chris Johnson has publicly called out his teammates. The Lions are 0-2 against the spread and have not looked good in either game. I think both teams play much better and the Lions get the win, but I love me the home dog to cover.
