Bullied News Anchor Gets Back Up From Her Famous Brother

By: Sara

On Tuesday, Wisconsin news anchor Jennifer Livingston won the hearts of America when a video of her standing up to a rude viewer went viral. Because Jennifer works in the public eye, she is used to viewer mail that can be either complementary or cruel. However, after she received one particular e-mail regarding her weight, Jennifer decided to take a stand.

The e-mail reads: "Hi Jennifer, It's unusual that I see your morning show, but I did so for a very short time today. I was surprised indeed to witness that your physical condition hasn't improved for many years. Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular. Obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make and one of the most dangerous habits to maintain. I leave you this note hoping that you'll reconsider your responsibility as a local public personality to present and promote a healthy lifestyle."

After Livingston's husband posted the letter on his Facebook page, the story gained steam. This inspired Jennifer to take things even more public and talk about it on TV.

Jennifer's message of anti-bullying struck a chord across the country and there has been a huge outpouring of support. One of her strongest supporters is her brother Ron Livingston, the star of "Office Space". After he finished his TPS report, Ron put out a statement yesterday saying, "My sister Jennifer brings an exceptional dedication to her job, her family, and her community, and been a role model of mine for many years."
