Muse To Play Detroit, Tickets On Sale Oct. 12

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) — British musical sensation Muse announced Friday that they're stopping March 2 at Joe Louis Arena to support their sixth album "The 2nd Law."

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, October 12 and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, LiveNation.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Muse is comprised of Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. Since forming in 1994, they have released five studio albums -- selling upwards of 15 million albums worldwide.

The group's last album "The Resistance" reached No. 1 in 19 countries. They won a Grammy Award for "Best Rock Album" and an American Music Award for "The Resistance."
