BIRMINGHAM (CBS Detroit) – It’s a spooky fall favorite at Birmingham’s Greenwood Cemetery.

In the spirit of the season, Friends of the Birmingham Historical Museum & Park once again offer their Fall Greenwood Cemetery Tour Saturday, October 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The tour honors Birmingham’s earliest settlers, who carved the fledgling settlement out of the wilderness and others who went on to build Birmingham’s unique community up to the 20th century.

Come to the tour for a chance to hear stories of pioneer founders, early movers and shakers of the town , social activists and incredible war stories.

Tickets for the cemetery tour are $10 per person. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. The tour fills quickly but a very limited number of tickets may be available at the gate for $15.

To purchase tickets or for more information, click here, stop by the Birmingham Historical Museum during museum hours (Wednesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) or call 248-530-1928.
