BLOOMFIELD HILLS — The business intelligence software developer Lakeside Software Wednesday announced the release and general availability later this quarter of SysTrack Transform.

SysTrack Transform accelerates desktop transformation by continuously and automatically tuning implementation models using real-time application and user behavior analytics, enabling the model to always mirror even the most dynamic of environments, and speeding the time it takes to roll-out implementations.

IT Infrastructure is constantly evolving. Users’ application needs and supporting hardware are in a state of constant change. IT executives and decision makers need real-time insight into their environment including guidance for optimizing their physical or virtual desktop OS upgrades, hardware changes and application migrations. SysTrack Transform generates real-time, dynamically updating analytics, report ing dashboards and workflow to enable IT to manage their transformation projects from initial design/architecture through steady state.

SysTrack Transform is an extension to the SysTrack data platform architecture.  Transform applies data collected by other SysTrack tools, including the Virtual Machine Planner (VMP) and Image Provisioning Planner (IPP), to identify and rationalize the applications in use, and help IT understand workflow on affected desktops. SysTrack Transform reads the base images directly from IPP, or they can be defined manually. For each image, Transform tracks where the application and the users are and presents real-time visual status of image, application and user readiness.

SysTrack Transform imports data from the Microsoft compatibility database, from the Citrix AppDNA application migration software or from your own compatibility database, and integrates this with empirically observed data on application usage by other users. Transform uses this data to create a Compatibility Score for each application that shows how compatible that application is with the targeted base image.

In addition to tracking installed application assignments to base images, SysTrack Transform manages all of your entitled applications whether delivered through Citrix XenApp, Microsoft SCCM or App-V, VMware ThinApp or another mechanism.
