Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car
PITTSFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Pittsfield Township police are investigating a fatal accident that happened Thursday night.
Police say a 59-year-old Ypsilanti Township woman was hit by a car as she was crossing Golfside Road, near Washtenaw Avenue. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Identities of those involved were not immediately released.
An investigation is ongoing.
