There’s Something Funny About These Flight Safety Videos

ROMULUS (CBS Detroit) – Is airline safety a laughing matter? Maybe in this case.

Two new Delta Airlines safety videos, now on YouTube, address the federally-required topic of passenger safety with a series of visual gags and subtle humor, such as a robot who shuts itself down.

Other jokes include a passenger who doesn’t want to sit near an emergency exit, a precarious game of Jenga during turbulence and man stepping out of the bathroom just as everyone turns to look at him. (See if you can spot the cameo by our 16th President!)

The videos were filmed at Metro Airport.
