Johnson, Avril Return For Lions, Harvin Inactive For Vikings

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota Vikings star receiver Percy Harvin is inactive for the game against the Detroit Lions with a sprained left ankle.

For the Lions, star receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) and defensive end Cliff Avril (back) are active after being listed as questionable.

Harvin was listed as doubtful for the game Friday and coach Leslie Frazier said he would have had to make significant improvement on Saturday to be considered for the game. He did not practice this week and now will have two weeks to recover with the Vikings on a bye next weekend.

The Vikings are also missing defensive tackle Letroy Guion. He is out with a turf toe injury.

Detroit also scratched defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee) and tackle Corey Hilliard (knee) after listing them as questionable.
