Verizon Expands 4G LTE Network In Michigan

SOUTHFIELD — Verizon Wireless Wednesday announced an expansion of its 4G LTE network across Michigan.

The nation’s biggest wireless company announced that its 4G LTE service would now be available in and around Davison and Otisville in Genesee County; Linwood and Pinconning in Bay County; Coloma in Berrien County; Covert, Lawton and Paw Paw in Van Buren County; most of Lapeer County; and the northern half of St. Clair County.

Users of Verizon’s 4G LTE service see real-world download speeds of about 5 to 12 megabits per second on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
