Boil Water Alert Issued For Parts Of Walled Lake

WALLED LAKE (WWJ) – A water main issue in the city of Walled Lake has caused a “boil water” alert for many residents.

City officials say the water main issue occurred on Leon Road.

Residents on the following nearby streets are being asked to boil water for one minute as a precautionary measure before using for drinking and cooking:

  • E. Walled Lake Drive
  • Arvida Street
  • Bluffton
  • Cheriton Street
  • Leeds
  • Leon Road
  • Welfare Boulevard

Residents in the East Bay Village Condo complex are also affected. Those located on the following streets are also under the advisory:

  • Sandy Lane
  • Old Pine Way
  • Rivera Court
  • East Bay Drive
  • Village Drive
  • Boardwalk
  • Clubhouse Circle
  • Red Oak Court
  • Pointe Drive

A notice will be given to residents when the boil water advisory is lifted.
