Michigan +4 @ Ohio State: If Wolverines had played better verses the option this year I’d be tempted to pick the upset. Braxton Miller is the difference.

Prediction: Ohio State 30 Michigan 20

Michigan State -8 @ Minnesota: Picking Spartans this year with or without a betting line has been painful.

Prediction: Michigan State 20 Minnesota 10

College football best bests: 17-7

LSU -12 @ Arkansas: Hogs are a complete mess. I’d be tempted to take the Tigers even if they were three or four touchdown favorites.

Prediction: LSU 38 Arkansas 13

Detroit Lions season predictions: 6-4

Detroit +3.5 vs. Houston: Lions can hang with Texans just like they did with the Packers on Sunday.

Painful as it will be, I’ll take the Lions with the points, but the visitors will win.

Prediction: Houston 34 Detroit 31

Pro best bets season: 17-17

Denver -11.5 vs. Kansas City: Chiefs took their one shot on MNF. Now, they’ll be a good bet to lose all their games verses the number from here on out.

Prediction: Denver 28 KC 10

Tampa Bay +1 vs. Atlanta: Falcons injuries and turnover problems are a concern.

Prediction: Tampa Bay 23 Atlanta 20

Seattle -3 @ Miami: Lots of money moving on the Seahawks since early in the week.

Prediction: Seattle 20 Miami 16
