Help Neighbors In Need With St. Vincent de Paul

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - St. Vincent de Paul making the big push for your help during the holidays.

Executive Director Bill Brazier says they make house calls to find out where the needs are the greatest throughout metro Detroit.

"I was in a home a couple weeks ago...it was amazing ... they had no beds. They're working people, they're just trying to make the transition and they can't even afford beds," Brazier said.

St. Vincents is staging a telethon throughout the day Thursday on WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.
