TRAVERSE CITY — The MidMichigan Innovation Center will host its Boost entrepreneurship competition Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Inside Out Gallery, 229 Garland St. from 4 to 8 p.m.
Some 20 presenters will compete for funding and small-business resources. Doors open at 4 p.m. with an overview on business capital options available to start up and insisting businesses, followed by refreshments and networking. The presentations begin at 6 p.m. with the awards at 8 p.m.
Twenty contestants have two minutes to pitch their idea, product, service or business before a panel of judges and an audience of experienced entrepreneurs and business support professionals. Presenters will receive constructive feedback to strengthen pitches. Click here for an example of a pitch.
