Reward Offered For Tips In Pontiac Man's Shooting Death

PONTIAC (WWJ/AP) - A $1,000 reward is being offered to help solve the murder of a 32-year-old Pontiac man who was found shot in his driveway on Christmas morning.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Department says deputies got a call about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday and found the body of Marwin Chambers in the driveway of his home on North Glenwood Avenue in Pontiac.

Investigators say Chambers was shot several times. Reports say he was shot at least 10 times and had at least one gunshot wound to the head.

The department says deputies saw footprints in the snow and called for a K-9 unit to help, but the dogs lost the scent.

So far, the department says there's no suspect in the killing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also submit a tip online at www.1800speakup.org, or text "CSM" and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
