Police Searching For Missing Farmington Hills Man

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WWJ) - A 53-year-old Farmington Hills man hasn't been seen since Monday night and police would like to know his whereabouts. Mark Minnick was last seen in the area of Haggerty and 14 Mile Road around 8:30 p.m. on Monday At the time, he was driving a beige 2007 Jeep Laredo with Michigan license plate CCS8317.

However, there is a twist to this story: police tell WWJ Newsradio 950 that just after 2:00 this morning a man identifying himself as Mark Minnick called them to say he was okay. But, a missing persons alert will remain active until they can confirm it.

Minnick is 6'2" tall, weighs 230 lbs., has brown and silver hair, blue eyes and wears a goatee. He was last seen dressed in all black clothing.
