DEARBORN (WWJ) – A few thousand people marched along Warren and Schaefer in the 9th Annual “March for Peace” in Dearborn.
Imam Husham al-Husainy of the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center organized the march which he says is for peace in the Middle East.
The march is about peace and an end to violence and extremism in the Middle East.
The march was held two days after a Shiite Holy day that commemorates the slaying of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson.
