FENTON — The digital marketing agency 3Sixty Interactive said this week that it assisted Kettering University with a digital marketing campaign to reach potential students and subsequently increase online applications.
Kettering University is a top ranked institution in the engineering field, with unique co-op opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students.
3Sixty Interactive worked with Kettering in developing a strategy, maximizing their budget across three digital channels — pay per click, display advertising, and Facebook advertising.
Measurements were taken bi-weekly with adjustments made based on analysis. 3Sixty Interactive looked at which medium was the most successful every two weeks, and allocated the budget appropriately. During the last two weeks of the campaign, 3Sixty Interactive only ran display advertisements on the Google ad network because that was the best performing medium.
The campaign exceeded the conversion goal for online enrollment applications by 36 percent. 3Sixty Interactive was able to reach the target market — high school students interested in engineering — and raise awareness for the university through digital marketing methods.
