DETROIT (WWJ) – A 17-year-old boy is dead and a 23-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting on Detroit’s west side.

It happened late Friday morning at a home on Columbus Street, near Grand Blvd and Grand River.

Police talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 said the pair was inside a house when two men walked in and started shooting. Authorities say there was no evidence to suggest this was a robbery.

Investigators said they are now looking for the suspects, but have very little information.
