Fatal Crash Blamed On Busted Traffic Lights

PONTIAC (WWJ) - A deadly accident in Pontiac may have been caused by non-working traffic lights.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies say 47-year old James Krajenka of Macomb Township died Tuesday night after his truck was hit and flipped over at Woodward and University roads.

Witnesses told investigators the traffic signals at the intersection weren't working.  Sheriff's officials said Krajenka wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

A passenger in his truck and the Detroit man driving the other car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  Their names were not released.
