Expect "Fun" To Get Attention At The Grammys

DETROIT (WWJ) - The group "Fun", one of the acts up for major awards at Sunday night's Grammys, is getting a lot of attention focused on them right now.

Speaking live on WWJ, CBS' Steve Futterman said he predicts big things for the group Fun.

"What's going to emerge very likely tonight is the group Fun which has that megahit, 'We Are Young', which you probably hear all the time - it's being used on commercials - it's being used on TV shows. I think that is probably going to be the big star tonight," said Futterman.

Futterman predicted the group is likely to take home 3 top awards: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist.

On a more sobering note, Futterman added that with suspected murderer Christopher Dorner still on the loose a lot of attention is also being placed on security.

"Security is going to be a bit - extra tight at the Grammy Awards which take place at the Staples Center near downtown L.A. so a very large police presence there and of course, police are being extra cautious right now because they are threatened by Dorner. So security's going to be an extra concern tonight but hopefully the show goes on without any problem," said Futterman.
