Listener Wears Tony Ortiz's Underwear On His Face For Wings Tix

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) How far would you go for free hockey tickets? One Detroit fan tested his personal boundaries Thursday on the Stoney and Bill show on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit.

As part of a "how far would you go for Red Wings tickets?" contest, super Red Wings fan Ryan volunteered to have sports reporter Tony Ortiz's underwear draped on his face for 30 seconds. And he said he would leave his tongue out the whole time.

Why would he do this? Because his young son has never been to a Wings game, and this was a way he could get tickets, Ryan said. The game is Saturday against the Nashville Predators.

"These better be some damn good tickets..." Ortiz said. "This is not anything I would even remotely think of doing."

As for the origins of the underwear, Ortiz explained that they're black and about eight years old. He did some lunges to make sure they were properly ready.

"Look at the wear marks right there," Ortiz said, guaranteeing they were worn and not just in his pocket.

Host Bill McAllister had this question: "Do we want crotch on the face or butt on the face?" He described their scent as "oakie, yet piquant."

What happened next? Keep watching. He may or may not mash up the big wad of underwear and stuff them in his mouth.
