War Of Words Turns Into Firefight In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) – Police said a war of words turned into flames of fury in an east side Detroit neighborhood.

The occupants of the home on Nottingham near Frankfort reportedly got into an argument Sunday with people whom they were told were trying to rob their house.

Then around 3:30 a.m. Monday, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the house, which burst into flames, officers said. The four people inside were able to escape, and no injuries were reported.

No other homes were damaged, but the suspected arsonists remain at large.
