Fox 2 Reporter Charlie LeDuff Accused Of Biting, Spewing Obscenities During Brawl

DETROIT (WWJ) - Charlie LeDuff, the Fox 2 reporter known for his own provocative style of reporting, is now part of a story of his own.

LeDuff allegedly was involved in a brawl during the Detroit's Corktown St. Patrick's Day Parade last Sunday.

According to a police report, LeDuff appeared "highly intoxicated" and was witnessed urinating on a street near Brooklyn and Michigan Avenue.

A security guard on the scene recognized LeDuff, convinced him to have a seat and offered him a water. While the security guard was calling Fox 2 to advise them of the situation, LeDuff aparently started to shout obscenities to three women.

According to the police report, a large altercation ensued after LeDuff called the women "whores." The security guard said that during the scuffle, LeDuff bit his left index finger, breaking the skin.

The police report cited LeDuff for aggravated assault.

A call for comment was not immediately returned.
