GIBRALTAR (WWJ) - A Gibraltar woman got a great surprise recently after discovering three Mega-Million tickets she bought last December — and forgot about.

A couple of weeks ago, she took the tickets to the grocery store and discovered one of them was worth $250,000.

The grocery story clerk quietly came up to the big winner and told her that she had just won $250,000!

She told lottery officials that she plans to use some of her winnings to help her family and take a trip to Ireland to see the pen pal she has been writing to for 60 years.
