Tony Phillips, 53, Will Try Out For Independent League Team Next Week
Long-time big leaguer Tony Phillips is apparently still trying to play professional baseball. Paul Braverman, the promotions and communications manager for the independent York (Pa.) Revolution of the Atlantic League, reports that the 18-year MLB veteran will attend the team's open tryout next Friday.
