DETROIT (WWJ) – The popular Minnesota-based coffee shop Caribou Coffee is closing 10 of its locations here in Michigan.

That’s part of 80 stores locking its doors for good in nine states.

In the metro Detroit area, those locations include Plymouth, Troy, and West Bloomfield.

Eight Caribou Coffee shops will stay open until the fall — when they will be rebranded and converted to Peet’s Coffee. Those locations include Ann Arbor and Royal Oak.

Three locations, however, will remain open — all three of those are in Detroit Metro Airport.
