MONROE (WWJ) – A 25-year-old Romulus man has died after flying off a sled on a private property in Monroe County.

The sheriff’s office says 27-year-old Roy Leffler was pulling Robert Tackett on a homemade sled with his pickup truck on Tuttlehill Road, north of Dundee. Police say Tackett was thrown off the sled, and hit a tree.

He was taken to an area hospital with a number of injuries.

Leffler was not hurt.
