Warren Mayor Won't Face Charges For Recorded Outburst

WARREN (WWJ) - The mayor of Warren won't face charges for a recent outburst over the phone that was recorded by one of his appointees.

The Macomb County prosecutor's office says that Jim Fouts broke no laws.

Fouts was under investigation by Michigan State Police in connection with a recorded telephone conversation.

This came after an unknown city appointee allegedly taped a phone conversation during which the mayor said he did use some questionable language.

Fouts admitted that he has a boiling point which erupted but the conversation on the phone was a private one and not meant for (public) consumption.
