Police Ask For Help Locating 85-Year-Old Detroit Woman Missing Over A Month
DETROIT (WWJ) - An 85-year old Detroit woman has been missing now for a month. Violet Asaro was last seen at her apartment, the Central Senior Towers Center in southwest Detroit-- April 10th.
Susan Hatcher-Wilson is lay minister at Asaro's church. She says Asaro's husband died in February and she has no family in the area.
"Everybody in southwest neighborhood knew her ... she was out everyday, she was there a lot even before she moved to that area because of church and nobody has seen her," said Hatcher-Wilson. "It's just like she vanished."
Asaro is 5'4", white with green eyes and gray-reddish hair.
