Rick Porcello Takes Loss In Quality Start
Tigers starter Rick Porcello fell to 2-3 despite a quality start in Sunday's loss to Baltimore.
Porcello allowed three runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings. Porcello also struck out seven. He departed with two runners on and wasn't helped out by his replacement, Phil Coke, who allowed both runners to score on a pair of singles. Porcello's ERA is still ugly at 5.21, but he has allowed over three runs in a start just once since April 20th, when he allowed nine runs in 2/3 of an inning against the Angels.
