Charges Filed In The Anti-Violence Vigil Murder In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Murder charges have been filed against two men accused of shooting a man to death at an anti-violence vigil.

The Wayne County Prosecutor charged Freddie Marshall of Lincoln Park and Erick Peoples of Detroit with murdering Antonio Booker last weekend.

Authorities say Booker was in a large group attending a vigil for a shooting victim in southwest Detroit when the two suspects rode by on bikes and started shooting into the crowd.

If convicted Marshall and Peoples will spend the rest of their lives in prison.
