Lindsey Vonn Reminds Us She's Not Just Tiger Woods' Girlfriend

Lindsey Vonn is following boyfriend Tiger Woods at the 2013 US Open.
We already knew this because we saw her trekking through the mud on Friday and then being offered a well-intentioned but misspelled parking spot on Saturday morning.
She wants to remind us, though, that she's not just a patron of golf, not just Tiger Woods' girlfriend. She spoke to the New York Times about her relationship with Woods. "Some people seem to forget that I'm not just Tiger's girlfriend," Vonn said. "I'm actually a successful athlete.

I have my own career and my own life." Bold statement. True, of course, but I can't imagine Woods' camp will be excited about the quote. When you enter Tiger's world, you're in Tiger's world.
