Get Educated About The Affordable Care Act
By Sean Lee
The Obama administration is kicking off a new campaign to get public educated about the Affordable Care Act.
The campaign which includes a new call center and a revamped website, is expected to target 2.7 million mostly male and minority consumers 18 to 35.
It's part of a broader effort that will include hospitals, healthcare companies, media groups and state and local officials.
The website HealthCare.gov, has been reformatted to help people can learn how to get ready for open enrollment this fall. By October, the site will allow enrollees in 34 federally operated online marketplaces to apply for federal subsidies and shop online for plans.
