Joaquin Benoit Nails Down Extra-Inning Save
Tigers closer Joaquin Benoit recorded his seventh save Monday night as he pitched the bottom of the 10th inning in Cleveland.
Benoit held down the 4-2 win though he allowed two hits in his inning of work over 15 pitches. He struck out two batters and his ERA is at 1.73.
Benoit has continued to get it done with the closer role and should keep getting chances. He's given up just one run over his last 10 appearances with 17 Ks over that span.
